In fact, can I join your Christian Buddhist Ch'an sect? :o) (as long as it has t'ai chi and zazen of course) Ive recently been to a couple of lovely Zen mindfulness/meditation weekends, and next Sunday and I will be helping run the Taizé service in my village church. Life is generally more complex than B/W isnnt :-) I am somewhat familiar with Tibetian culture and the unique form of Buddhism. Shaolin temple did have a fair amount of contact with them and from what I read, picked up some of it's flavor from Tibetian as well as Taoist thought. Thanks for the link. No Problem! I found it an interesting read (I personally have no opinion on this latest round of the whole Tibet/China issue, it's a lot more complicated than assigning out white and black hats that both sides have been doing).
